The watch is beautiful. I messed up the bracelet trying to resize it but the watch looks great on the sangin leather band.

Watches are cool. My interest in them has grown a lot in the past few years. What really interests me is the people that wear them. There is so much history and cool stories behind why a certain man wears a certain watch. Like the legendary Seiko 6619-8060 worn by MACV-SOG in Vietnam. Even fictional characters like James Reese ,in @jackcarrusa terminal list series, and his fathers stainless steel Rolex submariner. @watchesofespionage has tons of amazing stories behind each watch he owns or posts about. My personal @sangin.instruments atlas has been with me in some pretty cool places over the past 4 years and has the scratches to prove it. Yes some are very expensive but your first time piece doesn’t have to be Patek Philippe, just find a solid Seiko and do some cool stuff.
Time is a tool and the one thing that keeps us all accountable; from appointments or meetings to Series TOT.

Excellent finish and great tactile feel on both the stem for adjusting time and date and on the bezel for the GMT function. I love that it’s not as large as some of my other watches and is a bit stealthier as a result. The band is better than others in the market too imho.
Since I picked up my first Sangin early this year, I've fallen in lust with this brand, the community it serves and the family that's grown up around it. It's more than just a watch. It's an identity. I consider myself very lucky to own it, and am proud to be able to wear this American watch on my wrist. So the Merlin is my third Sangin. I also have an Overlord and a Professional. Each is as good as the other. They scream quality with an emphasis on design and variety. There's a Sangin for every taste really if you prefer a watch that will take whatever you can throw at it. These are battlefield tested and bombproof....figuratively speaking of course, but who knows...could be literal but I don't know if anyone who would try to blow theirs up just to prove a hypothesis. I have a larger wrist and prefer a 41-43 mm case diameter. I was a little concerned at first, but the watch wears great. The white hands, indices and minute markers against the blue dial are amazing and I can just sit there and stare at it forever. The pop of red from the second hand is appreciated. The case geometry is perfect and wears great...very comfortable and the slanted knurling applied to both the crown and bezel make for an easy grip and turn. Bezel action is smooth and firm. Everything on the dial lines up and the overall finishing is really nice. You can tell that every detail was considered in the final production. This is one solid timepiece, a man's watch, and it is officially in my regular rotation......because I am a man, who loves wearing an amazing watch on his wrist that you won't see on everyone else's. Stay away from the herd and run with the elite. Buy one of these if you can find one and you'll know what I'm talking about. J. Jones of the unherdable

It’s become my daily, I have been neglecting my Tudors since I got this.
Finishing is waaaaay better than expected, and I expected it to be pretty good. Also wasn’t sure it was going to have applied indices, which elevates it even further and gives the dial so much depth. Only downside is that I wish it was 39mm with a 45-47mm L2L, however it definitely wears smaller than the dimensions suggest. I was worried about the 48mm lugs being uncomfortable on my 6.5” wrist, but honestly it’s the most comfortable watch I own. It instantly became my favorite by a long shot. The line is insane too. So glad I got on the waitlist and pulled the trigger when I got the email.
This is my second Sangin, and the build quality delivers again. The finishing is clean, functional, and easily competes with watches well above its price point. It is built for serious wear, and I expect to keep it in rotation for years.
I spent quite a bit of time on the waitlist and when the opportunity to purchase a V3 Neptune arose I jumped on it. This watch was well worth the wait and has been excellent.
Been waiting and looking for a while. It really is a perfect gentleman’s diver that I know will stand up to whatever I put it through. Can’t take it off.
Love the watch, but I think the clasp tension change was a bad move.

I found this brand about 2 years ago. I have never been disappointed with the Sangin brand. I have been waiting for this Neptune drop for almost 2 years and it does not disappoint. Beautiful and rugged watch with a classic look. Watch has OTH strap on it. I like the to use the watch so I skip the bracelets for some. You can’t go wrong following and purchasing from this brand.
Strap pairs extremely well with the para Overlord. I love all of my ZA Straps for their comfort, flexibility, and quality.

I'm very happy with the watch. It has a very high quality fit and finish. I LOVE the subdued blue bezel on the black DLC case. The included bracelet is awesome and easy to adjust. The included NATO strap is also quality. I will be a return customer and am very happy. Also, it has been keeping time extremely well.
By FAR the best watch that I own now! I love the Neptune. This watch looks and feels premium and the design is just spot on tool watch perfection. I feel like I can wear this watch with a Tuxedo as easily as I can in jeans and a T-shirt. The bracelet is very comfortable and the on the fly adjustment clasp is fantastic. It's honestly hard to thing of how this watch could be improved upon because it's just that good. Sangin's customer service is top notch which means a lot to me as well.
This was a gift from my wife for being promoted to Lt. in my police department.
The Neptune has been a watch on my husbands want list for a while. The smoothness of the new clasp on the bracelet really was a solid improvement from the previous version that a friend has. It’s such a clean timepiece that has become his primary work watch (He has a large collection so that’s saying a lot).

Compass is so cool and works well. I will check it with phone compass and on directions I already know and its always dead on. Would love to see this product where N S E W illuminate at light, that would be my only other reccomendation!
Strap fits great, I fold the extra slack doubled up thru metal bands. I have the 22M bronze aluminum compass on it which I love, had to add some black electrical tape to either side of where I wanted to compass to sit which holds it into position
Outastanding quality!!! The Sangin team did mention they reworked the clasp, just a little too light in my opinion, the quick adjust feels really nice. This is my first big money watch purchase, its very handsome and at the same time looks to be able to handle serious environments, I wish I had this as a salty lance.

Now I can’t promise Sangin will do the same for anyone else. My case is rare! I’m so grateful After sending my original to Sangin and getting stolen in transit because of thieves. Sangin (didn’t have to) went above and beyond and assisted me in the claims process with the postal service. After being denied even with filing for two appeals they went above and beyond with sourcing a beautiful direct replacement. Again they didn’t have too. They chose to and as a customer/veteran I’m more than grateful. The bracelet feels very solid. Very equivalent to some luxury brand bracelets. Field watch itself is solid af. Lume is great for night operations on date night.
Absolutely love this watch and was so excited when I got the private release email. I bought in an uber after landing to make sure I didn’t miss it. As a former Marine infantryman and now business leader, I wanted a watch that I could wear everyday with anything (casual up to suit). The Neptune delivered. I have no reason to wait or overpay for a submariner because I now have one that (is better) has a true personal connection and even better, supporting Marines. My only feedback opportunities are that I’d be super interested if the Neptune came out with 2 options: 1. Smaller bezel size of 40 mm vice 42mm to match the 40mm case size. 2. Introduce the twilight dial from the Merlin. I’d buy another one with the twilight dial asap, maybe even with a navy ceramic bezel insert to match.
My first nice watch and it was well worth the wait, glad I jumped on the private release. I have been wearing this everyday and have had a lot of great compliments about it. The slim profile with its rugged build is perfect. Only thing I wish it had was a micro adjustment clasp to squeeze out a little bit more room…a full link is too big. The Neptune won’t be my last Sangin.

Love the Merlin in the pvd black and white dial. The black numerals are super clear and easy to read on the white back and make it pop.
Impressive quality. An everyday wear watch. Good weight for a decently low profile 11mm case size. Luminous hands are excellent in low light situations. For a nod to OP Overlord, this watch sits high on my list of watches to wear and use. Good job, Sangin!
