At dawn on 6 June, nearly 7,000 ships and craft carrying close to 160,000 troops invade Normandy. Prior to the landings, the Airborne landings of 13,100 Paratroopers jumped into occupied Europe to seize causeways, key points, and control bridges. Members of the 82nd Airborne and 101st Airborne loaded unto 1087 Douglas C-47 Aircraft and made history as the first in France.

We started the Overlord project with a simple question. What if members of the Allied assault forces during World War II designed the field watch they wore into battle? We took that question and asked it to roughly 70 members of the Airborne community. Over the course of 90 weeks from start to finish, we came up with what you see here. Introducing the "Overlord" a rugged field watch a focused with American WWII ingenuity in mind.

Change can be unpredictable. It can be uncertain, unexpected, and fleeting.

Time is dependable. It's unchanging, expected, and consistent. It works like clockwork because it is, well, clockwork.

But through all the inconsistencies the future holds, one thing stays constant: the basics of time. And with Sangin, we brought out the brilliance in the basics. Sangin is the constant through it all.
