INTERNAL DIVERS OR GMT / LUMINOUS / OPERATED VIA 2:00 CROWN

story

Born from the demands of oceanic exploration, the Hydra was shaped by the people who needed it most. Divers, operators, and explorers across the Sangin community helped guide every decision. Their input drove us to create a tool that could thrive in the depths and transition seamlessly to the surface.

The Hydra’s design draws from the legacy of mid-century compressor-style dive watches, built in a time when exploration was raw and gear was made with a singular focus: survival. The dual-crown layout at 2 and 4 o’clock is a nod to that history. One adjusts the internal timing bezel, the other sets the date and time. Both use a decoupling system to mitigate interference with the movement or bezel while screwing down. The result—a water tight seal resistant to 300 meters of depth.

The case is forged from corrosion-resistant 316L stainless steel, offering strength and resilience in harsh conditions. Measuring 43 millimeters wide and just 13 millimeters thick, the Hydra wears with presence but remains comfortable and streamlined. A domed sapphire crystal with an internal anti-reflective coating ensures a clear view whether you are navigating low light or direct sun.

Legibility in any environment is essential. Therefore one of the brightest and most enduring luminescent compounds — BGW9 Swiss Super-LumiNova® — is found across the hands of the dial. Time remains legible even when visibility is gone.

Powering the Hydra is the Swiss-made La Joux Perret G100, a movement known for its reliability and accuracy. It is regulated in-house to four positions to maintain consistent performance, even under the strain of deep dives or dynamic operations.

Each Hydra comes with two strap options for maximum versatility. The new fully articulating three-link bracelet features our Superior Divers Clasp (SDC) which is equipped with a ceramic detent flip-lock for extra security and an on-the-fly adjustment module extension system, while the ZAS Admiralty Gray OTAN Strap offers lightweight durability and comfort.

The Hydra stands apart for its heritage, its purpose-driven construction, and the community behind it. Built to perform when it matters and designed to stay With You™, wherever you go.
