The Story of the Professional Chronograph
Two years ago, we set out to build something we’d never offered before: a chronograph built for people who rely on precise timekeeping across multiple environments. The goal wasn’t just to add another complication to the lineup, it was to create a tool that could track multiple times with absolute clarity, whether you’re on the ground, in the cockpit, or stepping into a boardroom.
Built With the Community That Uses It
As with everything we make, the design process didn’t happen in a vacuum. We tested early iterations with pilots, service members, and professionals across several fields. Each group put the prototypes through their own real-world use cases, forcing us to refine, pull back, rethink, and improve, over and over again. That back-and-forth cycle is ultimately what shaped the final form.
Why the Professional Case
We chose the Professional case for one simple reason: versatility. It’s the perfect balance between a rugged tool watch and a refined daily wear piece. It can take a beating in the field and still look at home in a corporate boardroom. For a complication as functional as a chronograph, that blend of durability and presence is exactly what it needed.
A Chronograph Worth Carrying
At its core, a chronograph is a built-in stopwatch, something simple on paper, but mission-critical for those who track more than just hours in a day.
• Press the 2 o’clock pusher to start timing
• Press it again to pause
• Use the 4 o’clock pusher to reset, or press 2 again to resume
• The 9 o’clock subdial tracks up to 30 minutes
• The 6 o’clock subdial tracks up to 12 hours
Both pushers screw down to maintain the Professional’s full 300-meter water resistance, ensuring the chronograph remains a true tool, not a fragile complication.
