At dawn on 6 June, 1944, nearly 7,000 ships and landing craft carried close to 160,000 Allied troops toward the shores of Normandy. But the first to touch French soil were not on the beaches. Before the landings began, 13,100 paratroopers from the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions jumped into occupied France under the cover of darkness. Their mission was clear: to seize bridges and causeways, disrupt enemy movements, and secure the path for the largest seaborne invasion in history.
That moment sparked a question. If those men had designed the watch they wore into battle, what would it have looked like?
To answer that, we spent 90 weeks working with more than 70 members of today’s Airborne community. We listened, refined, and built with purpose.
The result is the Overlord: a field watch forged in the spirit of American ingenuity and wartime necessity. Its sandblasted 316L stainless steel case echoes the rugged equipment of the era. The matte black dial is stripped of distraction and built for clarity, with oversized three-dimensional luminous Arabic numerals and hands that stay legible in the dark. Inside, a Swiss quartz movement delivers unwavering accuracy, even under extreme conditions. The fixed bezel and drilled lugs keep it functional and durable, no matter the terrain.
The Overlord is not just a tribute. It is a tool built to serve those who move with intention and stand ready in any environment.
With You™, from the drop zone to the day ahead.
